Ant Critchley on Burnout, Balance and Building Joy After the Chaos

Episode 15 Published 2 months ago
Description

I opened this episode by sharing that I’m finally starting to feel better after several rough weeks of illness, and then settled in for a wide-ranging conversation with my long-time friend Ant Critchley of Stellify. We reflected on how the last few years have changed us both, from the intensity of truth activism and alternative media to the exhaustion, infighting and burnout that can come with constantly pushing against the machine. Ant spoke about losing everything after taking a stand during 2020, how that period led him into podcasting and spiritual exploration, and why he now feels called to create something more grounded, joyful and human through his new pub venture.

From there, we went deep into discernment, shadow work, fear, freedom, trauma, community, spiritual balance and the difference between endlessly reacting to chaos and consciously creating something better. We talked about the Law of One, Mark Passio, David Icke, media theatre, the collapse of trust in institutions, and the need to stop handing our power away. The heart of the show was simple: observe people by their actions, not just their words; feed your own soul before trying to save the world; and remember that laughter, love, creativity and inner balance may be the most powerful forms of resistance we’ve got left.
