On July 23, 2026, Oklahoma lifestyle creator and mother Sara Gilson, also known as Sara Duffey, was found dead alongside her estranged husband, Jeremiah “Shawn” Duffey, inside her home near Tulsa. Police believe Duffey shot Sara before taking his own life. Only twelve days earlier, Sara had gone viral on TikTok after publicly accusing her soon-to-be ex-husband of sexually abusing a minor. She had also obtained a protective order requiring him to leave the home and remain at least 100 yards away.
