美国总统特朗普多次表明，他认为字典里最美的词就是关税。在去年1月20日宣誓就职美国总统后的游行活动中他甚至直言，字典里最美的三个词，第一是上帝、第二是宗教，第三就是关税。
继去年4月推出、并在今年2月被美国法院裁定违宪的“解放日”关税后，特朗普上个星期再度依据美国《1974年贸易法》第301条，以“强迫劳动”为由，对全球60个贸易伙伴征收10%或12.5%的关税。其中，英国、欧盟、印度尼西亚、马来西亚、台湾等12个美国贸易伙伴被课征10%关税；新加坡、中国、日本、韩国、澳大利亚等多数经济体则被课征12.5%关税。
特朗普以“强迫劳动”加征关税，究竟是不是“欲加之罪，何患无辞”？利用301条款及“强迫劳动”的理由加税，在美国法律上是否会更站得住脚？这12.5%的关税又会对新加坡产生什么影响？
