Ben Carroll has been sworn in as Victorian Premier, replacing Jacinta Allan after she lost support from the Labor caucus. He was challenged by Attorney General Sonya Kilkenny in a tense and chaotic caucus meeting on Tuesday morning but was later elected unopposed. Transport Minister Gabrielle Williams will serve as his deputy ahead of the state election in November. - बेन क्यारोल भिक्टोरियाका प्रिमियरका रूपमा निर्वाचित भएका छन्। उनले लेबर ककसको समर्थन गुमाएकी जसिन्टा एलनको स्थान लिएका हुन्। मङ्गलवार बिहान बसेको तनावपूर्ण र अस्तव्यस्त भनिएको ककस बैठकमा महान्यायाधिवक्ता सोन्या किल्केनीले उनलाई नेतृत्वका लागि चुनौती दिएकी थिइन्। तर अन्ततः क्यारोल निर्विरोध रूपमा नेता चयन भएका हुन्। त्यस्तै यातायात मन्त्री गेब्रिएल विलियम्सले उपप्रिमियरको जिम्मेवारी सम्हाल्नेछिन्। यसलाई लेबरका सक्रिय सदस्य तथा टार्नेट ब्रान्च अध्यक्ष समेत रहिसकेका महेश भण्डारी सामान्य पार्टी अभ्यास भएको विचार राख्छन्। भण्डारीसँगको कुराकानी सहितको रिपोर्ट सुन्नुहोस्।
