A new day service for adults with intellectual disabilities could soon be opening in Shannon. Enable Ireland has lodged plans to develop a facility in the Smithstown Industrial Estate. Subject to approval, the centre could be operational next year. Enable Ireland West and MidWest Services Manager Marion Purcell says they're busier than they've ever been before.
