Ascendo, Trinnov and Christie Unite for standout Home Cinema Experiance
Description
A truly great home cinema is not a pile of expensive boxes, it is a system where the room, the bass, the speakers, and the picture behave like one design. That is the idea behind the Magnolia 2 demo room headed for Audio Advice Live 2026 in Raleigh, North Carolina, and we walk through why it is catching so much attention in the custom installation world.
We dig into how Ascendo Immersive Audio and Trinnov are showcasing the latest evolution of cylindrical waveforming, an approach that aims to prevent standing waves rather than simply correct them afterwards. With a deliberately challenging square room, the goal is clear: consistent low-frequency performance across seats, tighter transient response, and bass you feel without losing definition. We also outline the core hardware choices, including the Trinnov Altitude CI processor, Amplitude 16 amplification, Ascendo subwoofer arrays, an infrasub extending well below the waveforming range, and coaxial point source speakers designed for time-coherent playback.
On the video side, we cover Christie’s Chorus 4K 1000KS laser projector and why specs like 10,000+ ISO lumens, 4K UHD plus resolution, and a compact chassis matter when you are building a premium residential cinema that still needs discreet integration. We round out the brief with the second 2.1 lobby setup and the practical takeaways integrators can apply to real client rooms.
