Les Misérables Dreams Come True in Boston | Concord News
Description
Courtney O’Connor’s dream of directing “Les Misérables” at Boston’s Lyric Stage is finally coming true — and it’s a personal, intimate affair in a 244-seat theater. De’Lon Grant, a Broadway legend based in Boston, takes on the iconic role of Jean Valjean, accepting the part just weeks after a performance — and admits he was stunned by the offer. Joining him are Lyric Stage regulars Kristian Espiritu as Fantine and Christopher Chew as Javert, as O’Connor celebrates local talent in unexpected roles. The production runs April 30 to June 20, 2027, with individual tickets on sale mid-August and subscriptions now available. It’s a passion project from start to finish — and WBZ-TV will be documenting the journey.
