A sedan crashed through the front wall of a home in Townsville, Queensland, narrowly missing a couple in their 60s who were in different rooms at the time. A 23-year-old man from Annandale was arrested at the scene, with police investigating whether drugs were a contributing factor to the late-night crash. The vehicle destroyed the lounge room and caused significant structural damage, stopping only at the rear wall of the property.
