Mom Blames ‘Hard Life’ for Starving Toddler to Death in Chilling Interrogation
Published 1 year, 2 months ago
Description
Brooklynne Davis, a 24-year-old Michigan mother, is facing felony murder and child abuse charges after her 18-month-old daughter, Skii Swope, died from starvation and malnutrition — while her twin brother was found in critical condition. Interrogation footage shows Davis deflecting blame and offering excuses, never once asking about her deceased daughter or injured son until nearly an hour into questioning. The Grand Rapids police chief called it one of the most horrific child abuse cases he's ever seen. Law&Crime’s Chris Stewart digs further on this episode of On the Case.
