A smiling mugshot of 23-year-old Lena Deoliveira has gone viral after she was arrested for allegedly attacking her sleeping boyfriend with a hatchet in a Fargo, North Dakota garage. An eyewitness claimed to see her swinging the weapon and described the sound as like “splitting wood,” with the victim left severely injured but alive. Deoliveira was arrested two days later in Minnesota and is now held on a $500,000 bond facing attempted murder charges. Law&Crime’s Chris Stewart is On the Case.
