Bombshell Dropped in Pregnant Texas Teen’s Murder Case

Published 10 months ago
Description

Myrta Romanos, the stepmother of accused killer Christopher Preciado, had all charges dropped in connection with the brutal murders of expectant mom Savanah Soto, her boyfriend Matthew Guerra, and their unborn baby. Prosecutors had sought to delay her trial due to a backlog at the crime lab analyzing the alleged murder weapon, but the judge denied the request and dismissed the case. While Romanos walked free after nearly two years in jail, prosecutors can still refile charges against her in the future. Law&Crime’s Chris Stewart is On the Case.
