An Oklahoma jury found Cherie Walker guilty after prosecutors said she enabled the abuse of her 11-year-old daughter, who gave birth to a baby fathered by her stepfather, Dustin Walker, while living in a home without running water or medical care. The jury recommended life sentences after hearing evidence that the girl had been kept out of school, away from doctors, and allegedly hidden from anyone who could have intervened.
