A 32-year-old man allegedly drove a stolen Honda Jazz at police officers during a chase through Kirrawee in Sydney's Sutherland Shire, with heroin, methamphetamines and cash allegedly thrown from the vehicle before it crashed into a parked truck. The driver and passenger were arrested on driving and drugs charges following the pursuit through residential streets. Police simultaneously conducted an eight-hour operation targeting modified vehicles at Brighton Le Sands and Botany Bay foreshore, resulting in five charges and more than 30 defect notices.
