Prime Minister Anthony Albanese attended a fundraising dinner at a $39.9 million Point Piper mansion hosted by Felix Lee, son of Chinese-born billionaire Phillip Dong Fang Lee. The elder Lee was previously investigated by the Australian Tax Office over allegations he deceived authorities when funnelling money from China to Australia. Labor's National Secretary Paul Erickson confirmed the donations will fund the party's 2028 federal election campaign.
