Over 45 volunteers from across the Southeast rolled into West Virginia this past Sunday to transform 11 homes in Boone County—thanks to a $30K grant from the BMH Foundation. Led by faith-based nonprofit Mission Serve, the crew tackled everything from roofs and decks to wheelchair ramps and interior work, all while homeowners paid nothing. One mom, Jennifer Clark, was thrilled her kids would have a safer, better home. The effort, part of Mission Serve’s second year in the Madison area, was made possible by local partners including Scott High School and Boone County Schools.
