Clare's Garda numbers are receiving a marginal boost from today.
One new Garda has been allocated to Ennis following the attestation of 206 new recruits from Templemore today.
It will bring the total number of Gardaí operating in the county town to 111.
Clare Local Community Safety Partnership Chair PJ Ryan has been telling Clare FM's Daragh Dolan that while additional resources are welcome, the numbers are dissapointing.
