Days earlier, touching this mountain meant death. Then seventy four men climbed it, saw God, and sat down to eat.
Nothing about those men had improved in the meantime. Something else changed, and it's the same thing standing between you and the door you've been hesitating at.
The covenant at Sinai gets sealed the way the ancient world sealed the bonds it never intended to break. Half the blood goes on the altar. Half goes on the people. And then Moses says a sentence that Yeshua picks up centuries later over a cup, in a room His friends had borrowed for the night.
