Then came the legal threat. A woman named in one slide demanded the post be taken down or she would sue for defamation. Administrators searched her name and found little, but the student had the underlying email from the files. Attorneys reportedly concluded the suit had no legs, and the threat was never carried out. Hawk uses it to talk about press freedom, evolving formats, and how good the reporting was.
