Back to EpisodesWhat many people don’t know about “The Odyssey”
Description
Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey brings Homer’s ancient epic to life with spectacular scale, but the history behind the story raises questions the film itself cannot answer. Unlike Odysseus, the evidence for the historicity of Jesus is conclusive—yet both stories portray a world in which good and evil are real and morality has consequences. Our deeper problem is that recognizing what is right cannot overcome the fallen nature that keeps us from becoming who God created us to be. Today, we consider why Christlikeness is produced not by imitation, but by Christ living and working within us.
