Voyager – Humanity’s Farthest Messengers
Published 3 months, 1 week ago
Description
Launched in the 1970s with less computing power than a modern key fob, two small spacecraft have journeyed further from home than anything humanity has ever built — and they’re still calling home from interstellar space. This episode tells the extraordinary story of Voyager.
You’ll come away understanding how a rare planetary alignment made the “Grand Tour” possible, what the Voyagers discovered, what it means that they’ve entered interstellar space, and the story of the Golden Record they carry.
