The Strauss Festival is back in Elk Grove this weekend for its 37th year — a dazzling, free celebration of Johann Strauss with dance, music, fireworks, and over 300 volunteers pouring in 50,000 hours annually. Running Thursday, July 23rd to Sunday, July 26th, shows kick off at 7:30 PM at Elk Grove Regional Park, with food, crafts, and dance workshops (no experience needed!) on Strauss Island overlooking the lake. Want to perform? Audition and commit — but for everyone else, it’s a fun, free, family-friendly spectacle you don’t want to miss.
