Some months don’t just feel busy, they feel spiritual. July has been that for me: heavy with grief, loud with news, and still strangely full of gratitude. I’m Regina Swarn, and I’m sharing what it’s like to carry loss while choosing joy on purpose, including why I can listen to some of the recordings from my last conversations with my sister Lora and why I can’t play the ones that hold her regrets. The good outweighs the bad, and I’m holding tight to the “grace years” when she was happiest.
