Oliver Jones, the renowned Montreal jazz pianist, organist, composer and arranger, has died. He was 91 years old. Jim West is a Canadian record producer who founded Justin Time Records in 1983 after watching legendary pianist Oliver Jones perform at the Montreal club Biddle's Jazz and Ribs. This performance inspired West to launch his label, with Jones starring on its very first release. He spoke to Ken Connors.
