Season 16, Episode 166 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get things started by discussing the latest round of layoffs made by ESPN that included former Pittsburgh Steelers S Ryan Clark essentially being fired.
Will Steelers DT Cameron Heyward fail to make the NFL Network's Top 100 list this year? It sure seems like that will be the case. We discuss what a snub that is when it comes to Heyward if indeed he fails to make the list.
Will the Steelers have an advantage in 2026 because of how many games they will play on grass during the regular season? Alex and I attempt to answer that question and especially based on the rankings the surface Acrisure Stadium received this offseason.
Alex released his updated Steelers' 53-man roster prediction ahead of the team's training camp getting underway in less than a week, so we go through it position group by position group. We go over the players that we might write in pencil right now and how different my prediction might look on Monday when it is released.
After thoroughly discussing the latest topical subjects and news concerning the Steelers, in addition to going over Alex's 53-man roster prediction, the two of us talk in-depth about six more players in my annual 90-in-30 training camp preview series.
The six players we discuss are WR Brandon Smith, S Robert Spears-Jennings, OT Lorenzo Thompson, TE Robert Tonyan, RB Jaylen Warren, and TE Darnell Washington. We give the summer outlook for each player and the chances a few of them have at sticking in Pittsburgh once the preseason ends.
