Published 2 months, 2 weeks ago
Description
Charlie James opens the segment by announcing that NewsTalk 98.9 WORD will soon be broadcast nationwide via SiriusXM Radio, expanding its reach across multiple platforms. He takes a call from John in Spartanburg, who shares his thoughts on local data center placements, suggesting an abandoned, water-filled rock quarry as a more practical location. After the call, Charlie lightens the mood by acknowledging World Collie Day in honor of his dogs, Artie and Sophie. He then transitions into a passionate rant expressing his intense frustration over personal property taxes after receiving a steep tax bill for his new truck.
