The Mirror That Held the First Performance
Description
Luna stands in the dressing-room mirror of the theater's opening night in 1889, where her reflection has just spoken. She searches for the origin of the note in her own handwriting, finding a diary entry from the original Marguerite describing a moment of doubt during the final scene. The diary reveals the curse was not a bargain but a decision made by Marguerite herself. Luna follows a trail of her own footsteps through the basement, discovering a locked door with her name carved into it. She forces it open, finding a room where the curse is written in stone—and a figure waiting in the corner. The episode ends with the figure turning, wearing her mother's face but younger, holding a key that Luna recognizes from her own childhood bedroom.
