Episode Details

In the sun-drenched streets of 1980s Miami, a charismatic preacher named Hulan Mitchell transformed himself into "Yahweh Ben Yahweh," building a fifty million dollar empire on the backs of the desperate and the devoted. Behind the polished temples and mayoral proclamations lay a hidden campaign of machete murders, severed ears, and silenced dissenters, all carried out in the name of a man who called himself God. This is the story of how faith curdled into fear, and how a decade of quiet, courageous investigation finally tore the mask from one of America's most chilling cult leaders.
