Wall St fell Friday as a Chinese AI breakthrough rattled semis and oil rose after holding ground for the previous three sessions on further US-Iran escalation. Dow Jones down 407 points. S&P 500 down 1.01%, closing below its 50-day moving average. Nasdaq down 1.40%. Slightly better than futures yesterday were indicating. Russell 2000 down 0.42%. Mag7 down 1.78%. SOX down 1.63%, recovering from a 5.5% opening drop. VIX up 12.19%.
ASX set for a good session today although escalation in the Middle East will not help.. SPI futures up 54 points or 0.62%.
US futures flat currently - Korea to reopen - Japan closed.
