Former Pentagon official on deaths of 2 U.S. service members
Published 2 months, 3 weeks ago
Description
Former Pentagon official Elizabeth Dent described the deaths of two U.S. service members in Jordan as "horrible" and "tragic," warning on Yahoo News that U.S. threats on Iran are "very likely" to materialize following the incident.
Dent noted that the strategic objective of the ongoing conflict has changed "pretty frequently". The two American military personnel were killed in action on Friday during a hostile barrage of Iranian ballistic missiles and drones launched at a U.S. military base in Jordan, representing the first U.S. combat fatalities since fighting intensified.
