A Clare MEP says it "beggars belief" that Ireland's health service is still largely reliant on paper records.
A 2024 EU Commission study found that this county has the lowest level of access to electronic health records of any member state.
The HSE One Health Record, which will be a single, integrated digital health system, is due to be operational in 2032.
