When Fear Stops Us
Sometimes we fear the worst and refuse to try.
Romans reminds us that we “did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear…” — from Romans 8:15.
Some of our fears are well founded. We don’t deny the dangers or the risks. But we won’t be paralyzed by them either.
Other fears are not well founded, and we refuse to become slaves to them.
In both cases, we seek to make reality-based decisions, guided by faith and hope rather than constrained by fear.
