Recap: Caitlin Clark Scores 45 as Fever Rally Past Storm in Thriller
Description
One game after suffering a bruised quad, Caitlin Clark delivered the most productive performance of her WNBA career. The three-time All-Star finished with 45 points and 10 assists — becoming the first player in league history to reach both marks in a game — and made 17 of 19 free throws as the Fever completed an eight-point comeback to beat the Seattle Storm 110-107.
Indiana led by 17, fell behind by eight with five minutes remaining and then closed strong. Kelsey Mitchell added 30 points, the Fever held Seattle to 19 points in the fourth quarter and committed only 13 turnovers. But they were outscored 66-44 in the paint with Aliyah Boston missing her third game of the season.
