Sl: Sončni žarki so se iskrili na površini Blejskega jezera.
En: The sun's rays sparkled on the surface of Blejski jezero.
Sl: Obdajala ga je idilična pokrajina, ki je kar vabila šolarje na raziskovanje.
En: It was surrounded by an idyllic landscape that beckoned the schoolchildren to explore.
Sl: Na izletu so bili učenci osmega razreda, med njimi Matevž, Tinka in Ema.
En: On the trip were eighth-grade students, among them Matevž, Tinka, and Ema.
Sl: Matevž je bil znan po svoji radovednosti.
En: Matevž was known for his curiosity.
Sl: V knjižnici je našel staro legendo o skritem kotičku ob jezeru, ki naj bi skrival čarobne moči.

Sl: Pridruži se nam," je vztrajal.
En: Join us," he insisted.

Sl: Radi se je držala pravil, a Matevževo navdušenje je bilo nalezljivo.
En: She liked following the rules, but Matevž's enthusiasm was contagious.
