A 12-year-old boy, Asher, was hit by an SUV while biking in Mid-City just before 8 p.m., leaving him with a broken jaw and leg—his jaw wired shut as he starts seventh grade. Surveillance shows he rolled through a stop sign as the driver sped away without braking or swerving. Neighbors heard his cries and called 911, saving his life.
