In memory of Kent Schnakenberg, the Juicebox Podcast is rereleasing his most recent appearance from 2025.
Kent appeared on the podcast twice, sharing a story marked by resilience, generosity, and an extraordinary commitment to children and families living with type 1 diabetes. Through Team Schnak, he built community, offered encouragement, and helped countless people feel less alone.
Kent passed away on June 11, 2026, at the age of 71. This episode is being shared again in recognition of a life, a story, and a body of work that were beyond laudable.
From October 2025: Kent Schnakenberg returns to share how one bike ride turned into a life's mission—raising awareness, saving lives, and inspiring thousands through Team Schnak Strong and the fight against type 1 diabetes.
