Pl: Mateusz, Kasia i Ania stali w ciemnym korytarzu podziemnego bunkra.
En: Mateusz, Kasia, and Ania stood in the dark corridor of an underground bunker.

Pl: Światło było słabe, a powietrze miało chłodny, metaliczny zapach.
En: The light was dim, and the air had a cool, metallic smell.

Pl: To miała być zwyczajna szkolna wycieczka naukowa.
En: It was supposed to be just an ordinary school science trip.

Pl: Jednak los chciał, że zamknęły się za nimi ciężkie drzwi, a ich nauczyciel, pan Nowak, upadł i stracił przytomność.
En: However, fate had it so that the heavy doors closed behind them, and their teacher, Mr. Nowak, fell and lost consciousness.

Pl: Teraz wszyscy patrzyli na Mateusza.
En: Now everyone was looking at Mateusz.

Pl: Mateusz spojrzał na twarze swoich kolegów z klasy.
