We catch up with longtime racing insider Alan Foreman in the newest episode of Midlantic Racing Today, powered by The Racing Biz.

In a career that's spanned nearly 50 years, Foreman defended Maryland's stewards in the most famous non-disqualification case of all, navigated murky waters with a successful jockey who wasn't old enough to hold a license, helped push Maryland to rebuild Pimlico, and positioned the Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association on the side of HISA.

Yet after all that, he says, "Racing has not figured out what its product is."

Why? And what does he see in the future?

It's a wide-ranging conversation with the insider's insider.
