Kai Newkirk (AZ-04) is a longtime organizer, anti-corruption leader, and co-founder of 99Rise who led the Democracy Spring protests for campaign finance and voting rights reform. He's running to replace Democratic incumbent Rep. Greg Stanton, an AIPAC-backed corporate Democrat who has taken over $300,000 in AIPAC money, failed to take a strong stand against the Iran war and ICE's rampage, and opposes Medicare For All. Because AZ-04 is solidly Democratic, the primary winner is expected to win the general.
Adam Green is cofounder of the Progressive Change Campaign Committee (boldprogressives.org), an economic populist organization working to elect bold progressive fighters in red purple and blue districts this cycle. PCC has raised $40 million in grassroots donations for candidates over the years. Endorsed candidates include all 3 of Zohran's winners in NY, Analilia Mejia and Adam Hamawy in NJ, Chris Rabb in PA, as well as Abdul El-Sayed in MI, Kai Newkirk in AZ, and others.
Trita Parsi is the executive vice president of the Quincy Institute. He is the award-winning author of "Losing an Enemy: Obama, Iran, and the Triumph of Diplomacy" and "Treacherous Alliance: The Secret Dealings of Israel, Iran, and the United States" and the 2010 recipient of the Grawemeyer Award for Ideas Improving World Order.
Marta Havryshko is a U.S.-based historian, author and researcher focused on Ukrainian nationalism, the far right, and the Russo-Ukrainian War. She was previously the Dr. Thomas Zand Visiting Assistant Professor in Holocaust Pedagogy and Antisemitism Studies at the Strassler Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Clark University. There, she teaches courses on antisemitism, racism, Eastern Europe, and gender-based violence in armed conflicts.
