The Ink That Crawled Into My Skin
Description
Luna stands frozen in the 1889 forest clearing, the ghost-light pen hovering over the torn page. The ink crawls toward her fingertip, and she finally lets it touch her skin. The curse writes itself into her body—the promised name burned into her palm. She follows the cloaked figure through a door that smells of earth and rot into a buried theater beneath the city, where rows of silent children sit in the dark. The figure speaks in her grandmother's voice, revealing the bargain was never about a single child but a lineage of replacements. Luna finds a mirror that shows her own face aging backward, and she realizes the curse is not a cycle—it is a coil, and she has always been the thread. The episode ends with the cloaked figure offering Luna the chance to become the first Marguerite and undo everything, but only if she forgets the woman in the mirror was ever her.
