Born in London and educated at the Jesuit school in Oughterard, he studied in Rome before returning to Ireland to serve as a gifted preacher and linguist, even penning a weekly column for the City Tribune. A lifelong cyclist and swimmer, he embodied joy and community spirit. A public memorial Mass will be held Saturday, July 18th, at 10:30 AM at St. Ignatius (the Jes) on Sea Road — open to all who wish to honor his life.
