Luna is caught by the promised child in the 1985 forest clearing. The ghost-light door vanishes as the child speaks with her mother's voice, revealing the bargain was sealed with a name that was never Luna's. She is dragged through the threshold into a memory of her grandmother's first meeting with the cloaked figure, where she learns the curse was written on a single page torn from a book of names. Luna must choose to rewrite her own name in the empty space or let the page burn with the memory of every daughter. The shadow child offers a pen made from the theater's ghost-light flame. The episode ends with Luna's hand hovering over the page as ink crawls toward her fingertip.
