यद्यपि शिवकुमारेण आ गतेभ्यः विंशतेः वर्षेभ्यः लिपिकाररूपेण कार्यं कृतं तथापि पदोन्नतिः न प्राप्ता आसीत् । सहोद्योगिनः मार्गदर्शनेन सः रामं पूजितवान् । वर्षात् अधिकः कालः अतीतः चेदपि तेन किमपि फलं न प्राप्तम् । अपरस्य सहोद्योगिनः मार्गदर्शनेन श्रीकृष्णस्य पूजनम् आरब्धवान् । अग्रे किं भवति इति कथां श्रुत्वा जानन्तु ।

Although Shivakumar had worked as a clerk for twenty years, he never received a promotion. Following the advice of a colleague, he began worshiping Rama.
