The parents of the 16 Siders children found in a home in Vinton County, Ohio, were summoned to court for their children in another county nearly five years ago. The juvenile court in neighboring Gallia County issued truancy complaints involving six of the children after they failed to attend school in 2021. The case was ultimately dismissed after Elizabeth Siders and Gary Siders couldn't be served with the complaints.
