Ep 438 - Sue Strachan - Scotland Almost Got There
Description
In the first of my episodes looking back at the Women’s T20 World Cup, former Scotland women’s team manager Sue Strachan reflects on Australia’s World Cup triumph and, in particular, Scotland’s campaign, which almost saw them progress from their World Cup group.
Sue, the former President of Cricket Scotland joins me this time as a passionate Scotland supporter. She shares her Scottish highlights from the tournament, reveals the financial challenges facing the national side, and makes a passionate plea for the ICC to do more to help Associate nations and continue the growth of the women’s game.
