Professional rock climber Emily Harrington became the fourth person and first woman to free climb El Capitan's 3,000-foot vertical rock face in under 24 hours, completing the feat in 21 hours, 13 minutes and 51 seconds in 2020. The American climber, who started the sport at age 10, suffered a serious head injury during the climb but pushed through with support from her team. The documentary 'Girl Climber' captures her record-breaking ascent of one of the world's most challenging climbing walls in Yosemite.
