Story Transcript:

Sk: V letnom popoludní, keď sa slnko predieralo cez rozbité okná starého skladu na okraji mesta, Jozef a Mária stáli pred jeho masívnymi dverami.
En: On a summer afternoon, when the sun filtered through the broken windows of the old warehouse on the outskirts of the mesto, Jozef and Mária stood before its massive doors.

En: Jozef, with his arms crossed, looked at the building with a skeptical expression.

Sk: "Toto miesto je len starý, opustený sklad," povedal nedôverčivo.
En: "This place is just an old, abandoned warehouse," he said distrustfully.

Sk: Mária, s iskrou v očiach, odpovedala: "A čo ak tu skutočne straší?
En: Mária, with a spark in her eyes, responded, "What if it really is haunted?"

Sk: "V sklade vládla tichá atmosféra, ktorú narúšali len ich kroky a vzdialené šum svätých.
En: The warehouse had a quiet atmosphere, disturbed only by their footsteps and the distant murmur of saints.

En: Mária moved forward with slow but determined steps, looking around with anticipation.

En: Jozef sighed and followed her, ready to prove that there are no ghosts.

En: "Look, there are only old machines and cables covered in webs," he said, pointing at the wheel wrenches laid on metal tables.

En: However, Mária was deaf to his words.

Sk: S radosťou sa pohybovala ďalej do hlbín budovy, kde slnko sotva dosahovalo.
En: She happily moved further into the depths of the building, where the sun barely reached.

Sk: Náhle sa ozval zvláštny zvuk.
En: Suddenly, a strange sound was heard.

Sk: Kovové kvílenie, akoby niečo ťažké spadlo.
En: A metallic screech, as if something heavy had fallen.

Sk: Jozef a Mária zastali, oči rozšírene.
En: Jozef and Mária stopped, their eyes wide.

En: "It's just the wind," declared Jozef, but his heart was beating faster.

Sk: Mária mu nasadila podpichovačný úsmev.
En: Mária gave him a teasing smile.

Sk: "Nevyzeráš presvedčený," podpichla ho.
En: "You don't seem convinced," she teased him.

Sk: Ale Jozef si v duchu pomyslel, že len vietor by to nemohol byť.
En: But Jozef thought to himself that it couldn't just be the wind.

Sk: Rozhodol sa teda pridať na vedu.
En: He decided to rely on science.

Sk: "Položím tu kameru," povedal a vytiahol jednu z tašky.
En: "I'll set up a camera here," he said, pulling one out of his bag.

Sk: "Chcem zaznamenať čo sa tu deje," dodal odhodlane.
En: "I want to record what's happening here," he added resolutely.

Sk: Keď biedneho svetla deň ubúdal, Mária sa rozhodla preskúmať tajomné, tmavé zákutia.
En: As the day’s meager light declined, Mária decided to explore the mysterious, dark corners.

Sk: Veci sa zamotáli ešte viac, keď vošla do veľkého skladu plného starých krabíc.
En: Things got even more complicated when she entered a large storage area full of old boxes.

Sk: Svetlo baterky p
