Dean Wendt served as the voice of Barney the Dinosaur for over 20 years, recording hundreds of TV episodes, albums and live shows from season seven through season fourteen. The purple dinosaur character became a global phenomenon, teaching generations of children about friendship, kindness and imagination through catchy songs and positive messages. During his tenure, Wendt worked with future stars Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato at the start of their careers, and performed alongside Dolly Parton at Dollywood.
