Ja: 夏の日が暮れ始めると、京都の街は活気に満ちていた。
En: As the summer day began to fade, the city of Kyoto was filled with energy.

Ja: 祇園祭りの季節、古都の通りは色鮮やかな浴衣を着た人々で賑わっていた。
En: It was the season of the Gion Festival, and the streets of the ancient capital were bustling with people dressed in colorful yukata.
