2026-0710 FOOD TRAVEL USA WITH ELIZABETH DOUGHERTY
The TRUTH About Food and Travel
Album:  The TRUTH About Food & Travel 071026
Original Broadcast Date: 07/10/26

FULL SHOW:  This week on Food Travel USA, Elizabeth Dougherty takes a closer look at why the Cavendish banana may be heading toward extinction as monoculture leaves entire crops vulnerable to a spreading fungus. We also examine troubling contamination findings involving jarred banana baby food, along with the broader question of how much parents can really trust what is marketed as safe. In travel, we cover airport delays, confusing airfare rules, lost luggage technology, and vacation deals that aren't nearly as generous as advertised. Plus, practical RV advice for dealing with a refrigerator that stops cooling, and a trip to New Orleans for Bananas Foster and then to the California desert for one of the strangest banana museums anywhere.

FOOD TRAVEL USA FAST FACTS

About the Show

Using the chassis of a food and travel show, Elizabeth Dougherty has carved out her own lane in Talk Radio, covering the contamination of the food supply and the travel restrictions placed upon us by an overreaching government. The show also covers data protection, self-sufficiency and homesteading-related topics to help protect to us from this evil, corrupt system. With Elizabeth as the host, the show has a very different sound from the typical male-oriented talk radio. In combination with terrestrial stations that carry the show, we reach people who don't normally listen to politically-driven talk radio. In addition to the LIVE FEED of the show on Fridays afternoons at 5pm (ET) / 2pm (PT) we produce and distribute a dozen podcast / segments each week.
