The Chicago Bears are getting national attention heading into the 2026 season — but not all of it is praise. On today’s episode of Chicago Bears Central, Haize breaks down the latest leaguewide rankings and reactions around Caleb Williams, Darnell Wright, Colston Loveland and Kyler Gordon. 🐻🔥

Darnell Wright was ranked among the NFL’s best offensive tackles and is now being viewed as one of the top right tackles in football. With a contract extension potentially coming soon, should Ryan Poles make locking up Wright a priority before training camp?

Colston Loveland also earned major respect, landing among the NFL’s best tight ends after a huge rookie season with the Bears. With Cole Kmet earning honorable mention and rookie Sam Roush joining the room, could Chicago have the best tight end group in the league?

Haize also dives into the growing concerns around Kyler Gordon, whose health and availability remain major questions heading into training camp. Can the Bears still trust him as their nickel corner, or will players like Cam Lewis, Malik Muhammad and Josh Blackwell be forced into bigger roles?

Plus, NFL coaches and executives ranked Caleb Williams as a top-10 quarterback — but one coach also called him “wildly erratic.” Is that fair criticism, or are people missing the bigger picture with Caleb’s arm talent, clutch gene and Year 2 growth in Ben Johnson’s offense?
